Cincinnati, OH (9712 Colerain Ave) located inside of the Prospect Square Shopping Center. It opened in July 1982[1], and closed on October 4, 1983[3].

History:

The location would open sometime in July 1982 with ‘Grand Opening’ advertisment ads running throughout the month. [1] An article from July 24, 1982 by The Cincinnati Enquirer states ‘The second Pizza Time Theatre in the Greater Cincinnati area has opened at the Prospect Square Shopping Center’. ‘…Pizza Time Theatre includes a 400-seat entertainment center featuring computer-controller four-foot animated figures that sing and joke in a vaudeville format’. ‘…They also offer birthday party packages and group tours for schools and clubs. Persons wishing to arrange tours or parties may call 385-8900’ [2].

Closure:

On October 4, 1983 the Pizza Time Theatre would end up closing.[3]. Despite this the Pizza Time Theatre would continued to show up on advertisment pages until October 12, 1983[3]. The property would sit vacent until May 1990 when it would be taken over by a mattress store[4]. On June 30, 1997 an auction would take place at the Prospect Square Shopping Center clearing it out of everything before demolition would begin. The portion of the shopping center the Pizza Time Theatre was located inside of would be demolished in late 1997.[5].
