Dr. Quack^[1] is a lost Cyberamic Cabaret test character that debuted at the Simi Valley, CA (71 Tierra Rejada Rd) location in 1980.

History

The animatronic is only known to have played the Dr Quack Showtape, and the only pictures of the robot have been of its appearances inside the Sunnyvale, CA (1213 Innsbruck Drive) Costume Department. Both photos have notable differences between them. One design depicts the character with ginger hair, alongside having a blue ascot. The other has the ascot removed and instead has curly dark brown hair. The other design’s picture also has the irises removed from the mech, making it unclear if the other design had the same eye color. It is unknown which design is the first, or which appeared at the Simi Valley location. It is unclear when Dr. Quack appeared at the Simi Valley location, though it would be some time between the location’s opening on October 20, 1980, and the only newspaper article depicting the character’s whereabouts on November 5, 1980.^[1] It is unclear how long the test animatronic stayed at the location before being replaced. Going off of what we know about the showtape, it can be assumed that this cabaret act was aimed toward younger and preschool-age kids, as opposed to other cabaret acts which were aimed at a general audience.
