2. Click "Generate new token (classic)"
3. Select the repo scope (this gives full control of private repositories)
4. Click "Generate token" at the bottom
5. Copy the token and paste it above

Your token is only stored in your browser's memory during this session and is never sent anywhere except GitHub.
