Hayward, CA (24039 Hesperian Blvd), Store #363 is a Chuck E. Cheese's that opened on July 24th, 2003 with a Studio C Beta , which is is still open to this day with the CEC 2.0 Remodel Program . This location should not be confused with Hayward, CA (24253 Hesperian Blvd) which was a Pizza Time Theatre location that opened in April 1981 and closed in Summer 1995. It was located next to a Toys 'R' Us that opened on October 24th, 1971 and closed in June of 2018 during the chain's bankruptcy. It would stay vacant for 5 years until in August 2023 when it would take its signage off and officially reopen as World Fine Furniture.

Stages

Outfit

The Chuck E. bot originally wore the Cool Chuck outfit (red hat with black 'C' on it, blue shirt with yellow 'C' on it, and khaki shorts) when they opened in 2003 until it was replaced with the Avenger outfit in December 2010-Spring 2011. In September 2013 the Avenger Cap was removed to fit with the new Rockstar look and then in May 2015 the Avenger outfit was replaced by the Rockstar outfit which he wore until the store received the CEC 2.0 Remodel Program .

Curtains/Random Movement

The curtains were disabled in late 2005, 2 years after they opened. In early 2013, Random Movements were turned on for the first time.

Blue Screen

The Blue Screen was replaced by the Ticket Background with the light up Ticket Blaster sign during the 2003 'Cool Chuck' Reconfiguration / Major Remodel Initiative|2010 Update remodel. Before it was replaced, the Blue Screen Camera stopped working around the January 2012 Show .

Dark Age (2015-2018)

Starting in 2015, the new tech at the time wasn’t really caring for the stage, things like head spinning, air leaks, teeth falling off, and the bot not being aired up were happening. In 2017, the bot was aired down and his teeth were missing for 3 months until it was aired up again. From December 2017-early 2018 the bot's mouth kept opening and shutting randomly while his back was stuck leaning and his mask was slowly falling apart. But things went back to good condition when the tech got fired and Doug become the stage tech in late 2018 and fix and got Chuck E back to working order. Sadly in 2022, Doug passed away, being replaced with a new tech named Ben, who then worked on Chuck E and got him a new mask that didn't have teeth, but teeth were added a month later. On June 24th, 2024, the stage would be removed in favor of a Video Wall and Chuck E Live Stage (Dance Floor).
