December 1992 Segment 1

    Chuck E. Cheese:

Hi there, everybody. And happy holidays

    Helen Henny:

    Happy holidays

    Mr. Munch:

This year I want a pile of presents

    Helen Henny:

Have you been good all year?

    Mr. Munch:

Good? Hey, I didn’t know there were any rules to this game

    Jasper T. Jowls:

There are only a few and they’re easy to remember.

    Jasper T. Jowls:(Singing)

You better watch out, you better not cry.

You better not pout, I’m telling you why.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice.

He’s gonna find out who’s naughty and nice.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

He sees you when you’re sleeping,

    he knows when you’re awake.

He knows if you’ve been bad or good

so you better be good for goodness sake

Helen Henny & Mr. Munch & Pasqually:

You better be good for goodness sake

    Jasper T. Jowls:

You better watch out, you better not cry.

You better not pout, I’m telling you why

Helen Henny & Mr. Munch & Pasqually:

Santa Claus is coming to town. Santa Claus is coming to town

    Jasper T. Jowls:

Santa Claus is coming to town

Helen Henny & Mr. Munch & Pasqually:

    Jasper T. Jowls:

Helen Henny & Mr. Munch & Pasqually:

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Santa Claus is coming to town

    Jasper T. Jowls:

Santa Claus is coming to town

    Pasqually:

Oh, he’s coming to all the homes in all the towns in all the world

    Mr. Munch:

Say, isn’t that a line from Casablanca?

    Helen Henny:

Munch, you watch too many late movies

    Mr. Munch:

I’m just training to stay up late waiting for Santa

    Pasqually:

Well, the wait is almost over

    Chuck E. Cheese:

That’s right, cause Santa will be on his way in the wink of an eye. And does everyone here know how Santa gets around? Jasper T. Jowls:

Sure, in a sleigh pulled by magical reindeer

    All:

    Yeah

    Chuck E. Cheese:

And as a special surprise guest, we’ve got everybody’s favorite reindeer here today

    All:

    Wow

    Chuck E. Cheese:

There’s just one problem, he’s really shy. But maybe, just maybe if you all help sing the next song, he might come out to say “Hi” in his quiet sweet shy little way

    Jasper T. Jowls:

    Isn’t that nice

    Chuck E. Cheese:

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen.

Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen.

But do you recall the most famous reindeer of em all?

    Rudolph the red nosed reindeer

    had a very shiny nose

and if you ever saw it

you would even say it glows.

    All of the other reindeer

used to laugh and call him names.

    They never let poor Rudolph

    join in any reindeer games.

    Then one foggy Christmas Eve,

    Santa he came to say

    Chuck E. Cheese & Kids:

Rudolph with your nose so bright

    Chuck E. Cheese:

Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?

    Chuck E. Cheese & Kids:

Then how the reindeer loved him.

As they shouted out with glee

“Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, you’ll go down in history”

    Chuck E. Cheese:

Let’s hear it for Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, ladies and gentlemen. Yay. Alright, one more time

    All:

    Rudolph the red nosed reindeer

    had a very shiny nose.

    Rudolph the red nosed reindeer,

    you’ll go down in history

    Chuck E. Cheese: (simultaneously)

Yeah, Rudolph the red nose- Rudolph the re- Uh, ok, Rudy- Ok. Rudolph, we really need to get on with the show. Rudolph. Rudolph. Uh, let’s go. We’ll be back, see you later

December 1992 Segment 2

    Chuck E. Cheese:

That’s right. We wanna give you a sneak preview of what you may hear on Christmas Eve

    All:

Here we come a caroling among the lights so bright.

With Chuck E. and the guys are going to sing for your delight.

Love and joy come to you, and to you good Christmas too.

And we’ll bless you and send you a happy new year

and we wish you a happy new year.

Pasqually takes the high part and he sings it very sweet,

he almost sounds like uncle Johnny’s singing parakeet.

Love and joy come to you and to you good Christmas too.

And we’ll bless you and send you a happy new year

and we wish you a happy new year

    Mr. Munch:

Hey, why do they call these songs Christmas carols?

    Chuck E. Cheese:

I don’t know, but if I see Carol I’ll ask her

    All:

Then there’s Jasper and Chuck E. both switching off the leads

and in between the phrases they perform with Christmas deeds.

Love and joy come to you, and to you good Christmas too.

And we’ll bless you and send you a happy new year

and we wish you a happy new year.

Crooning low it’s Mr. Munch he’s singing low on bass

    Mr. Munch:

And with my mellow bellows, I’m sure will rock the place

    All:

Love and joy come to you, and to you good Christmas too.

And we’ll bless you and send you a happy new year

and we wish you a happy, happy new year

    Helen Henny:

Do you believe in magic? I do because Christmas magic is all around. It turns frowns into smiles, it turns plain houses into rainbows and it touches the hearts of everyone we know and love.

    Helen Henny: (Singing)

    City sidewalks,

busy sidewalks dressed in holiday style.

In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas.

    Children laughing, people passing.

    Meeting smile after smile,

and on every street corner you’ll hear.

    Silver bells.

    Silver bells.

It’s Christmas time in the city.

    Ring a ling.

    Hear them ring.

Soon it will be Christmas Day.

    Strings of street lights,

    even stop lights

blink of bright red and green

    as the shoppers rush home

    with their treasures.

    Hear the snow crunch,

    see the kids bunch.

    This is Santa’s big scene

and above all this bustle you hear.

    Silver bells

    All:

    Silver bells

    Helen Henny:

    Silver bells

    All:

    Silver bells

    Helen Henny:

It’s Christmas time in the city

    Chuck E. Cheese:

We’ll be back in a bit with more yuletide fun. And we hope you’ll be here too. See you soon!

December 1992 Segment 3

    Chuck E. Cheese:

A lot of people smile for no reason this season

Chuck E. Cheese & Helen Henny:

And everywhere the air is electric. It’s majestic

    Jasper T. Jowls:

Something seems to happen after turkey day,

people move and grooving in a different

way and it’s kind of catchy once they start to say

    All:

    Merry Christmas, my friend.

    Share the joy

and the spirit of the season

    Pasqually:

    Come on

    All:

    Share the joy

    with everyone you meet

    Helen Henny:

If everyone could share like you

then all the world will shine like new

    Chuck E. Cheese:

Remember Mr. Scrooge and his money?

    He acted funny

Chuck E. Cheese & Helen Henny:

    When Christmas morning came

    he was a new man,

    he had a better plan

    Jasper T. Jowls:

Oh Mr. Scrooge was not the only guy

who saw the guiding light out of a snowy sky.

You can feel the magic if you close your eyes

    All:

And let the love pour right in.

    Share the joy

and the spirit of the season.

    Share the joy

    with everyone you meet

    Jasper T. Jowls:

    Hi there, friend

Helen Henny & Jasper T. Jowls:

    If everyone can like you

then all the world would shine like new

    All:

Share the joy and the spirit of the season.

Share the joy with everyone you meet.

If everyone can share like you

then all the world would shine like new

    Pasqually:

Now there’s a Christmas song that’s really cooking, and I should know. I’m a cook

    Chuck E. Cheese:

But now let’s sing some traditional old fashioned rock and roll

    Pasqually:

Rocking around the Christmas tree at the Christmas party hop.

Mistletoe hung where you can see every couple tries to stop.

Rocking around the Christmas tree, let the Christmas spirit ring.

Later we’ll have some pumpkin pie and we’ll do some caroling

    Helen Henny:

You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear

voices singing “Let’s be jolly. Deck the halls with boughs of holly.”

    Jasper T. Jowls:

Rocking around the Christmas tree, have a happy holiday.

    Everyone’s dancing merrily

    All:

In the new old fashioned way

    All:

In the new old fashioned way

    Charlie Rockit:

Wow, what a bodacious tune, guys

    Chuck E. Cheese:

Well, Charlie Rockit, coming from you I’ll take that as a great compliment

    Charlie Rockit:

No problem, Chuck. One favor though

    Chuck E. Cheese:

    Yeah?

    Charlie Rockit:

Can I do the band introduction this time?

    Chuck E. Cheese:

Well that’s usually my job but seeing how it’s the holiday season and such

    Charlie Rockit:

Here they are, everybody. Helen Henny, Pasqually, Jasper Jowls, Mr. Munch, and the star of our show, Chuck E. Cheese

    Chuck E. Cheese:

    Thanks, Charlie

    Charlie Rockit:

You’re welcome, Chuck. And oh, have a happy holiday

    Chuck E. Cheese:

Happy holiday to you too, Charlie. And to all of you out there, have a great holiday season. Back in a bit
