The
1996 Large Mr. Munch Plush was a official product produced for the Prize counters in 1996 by Dennis Foland. Inc.
Production
This plush was a part of Dennis Foland Inc's first set of original Chuck E. Cheese plushies.
The 1996 set introduced putting wires and cardboard pieces into the plush's legs and feet to give them the ability to pose and to stand upright on flat surfaces.
Prototypes
A prototype of this plush exists in the 1997-1998 Merch Catalog
(1) with some differences in design. For example the size of his eyes are different and have slight differences in printing.

Design
This plush's design is very simple. He has a purple fur-egg shaped body with a yellow belly. His arms are rounded out and have detailed hands with four fingers. His right arm is put upright in a waving position while his left arm is sewn into his body on his hip. His legs are short cylindrical pieces and his shoes are green with white soles and white shoelaces. His head is round and has a big gaping mouth with a large tongue and a set of three sharp felt teeth. On his snout he has two yellow nostrils. His eyes are black plastic pieces with white printing for the white in his eyes and orange for his eyelids. His eyebrows are two yellow felt pieces and he has long fuzzy yellow hair.

Differences Between Smaller Size
There aren't many differences between this plush and it's
smaller size except for the glaring difference in the size of the plastic eyes. The eyes are significantly better looking on this plush compared to it's smaller size.
