82 Buckland St, Store #467 is a Chuck E. Cheese's location in Manchester, Connecticut that opened on July 12th, 1993, with a 1-Stage .

History

Manchester opened July 12th, 1993, in the Shoppes at Burr Corners (Formerly the Plaza at Burr Corners), with a 1-Stage with the Tuxedo & Derby and the SPT 1990's Remodel Program . In the late 1990s, the exterior received its first update which involved repainting the building, replacing the logo with the Thumb Chuck logo, replacing the lettering, and adding red and yellow awnings to cover the checkers they had when they opened. In around 2003-2004, Chuck's Tuxedo & Derby was replaced with the Cool Chuck outfit. By 2007, Jasper & Pasqually received new masks. In Early 2010, Chuck's mask was replaced with a newer one, which had had until sometime in 2017-2018 in when it was replaced for one last time. In mid-2008, Manchester would receive the CEC 2000's Remodel Program which involved removing the showroom walls and all the 90s decor including the record Posters. This also involved the store expanding into a space next door, adding more games and a second set of restrooms. In 2014, Helen's mask was replaced with the mask from the New London, CT (389 N Frontage Rd) location which closed on May 11th, 2014, due to leasing issues. In October 2019, Manchester started their 2.0 Remodel (First in Connecticut which involved the removal of the 2005 Remodel Store Art, the checkers on the building they had since opening (As they were hidden since their first exterior remodel), and the removal of the 1-Stage for a Dance Floor. The stage was removed on November 21st, 2019. As of January 2023, Manchester still has the 2.0 Remodel. On January 16, 2020, the store held its Grand Reopening. As of January 2023, Manchester still has the 2.0 Remodel.
