Mr. Munch’s Submarine was a Pizza Time Theatre menu item introduced in 1979.[1][2]
The item was a submarine sandwich with three meats, two cheeses, and lettuce.
History
It is unknown the price of the item upon its release. In 1980 its price was somewhere in the range of $1.59 to $2.65 (likely the latter).[3] In April of 1982 it would be $3.45.[4] In October 1983 it would be $3.79 in Honolulu and $3.25 in New York.[5][2]

- At the Beaumont, TX (5874 Eastex Fwy) location, this was the Texas brand Morton’s.[1]
The item is served in a woven food basket on top of either deli paper or wax paper. A toppings bar was available which offered onions, piccalilli, horseradish, and mustard.
