Talking Chuck E.

Talking Chuck E. was a singular prototype toy created in 1997 by Streets Player Holdings Corporation. The plush was able to play music by squeezing its right hand. Powering the unit required 3 ‘AA’ batteries which were included with the box.

History

On April 25, 2022, the prototype would be listed on Goodwill’s website for sale alongside other items.[1] The unit would be purchased and after arrival it would be discovered the battery compartment was shattered. Due to this, the then owner would not be able to provide what the audio sounded like, and was unwilling to mess further with the prototype to get it.

On February 1st, 2026, the unit would be resold on eBay.[2]
