The location opened in December 1996 as a Franchised location with the 2-Stage from the Merced Pizza Time Theatre which closed a year prior. The store would open with [[Phase 1 (1994)|Phase 1]]. In 2010-2011, the store would receive the 2005 Update to the [[2003 "Cool Chuck" Reconfiguration / Major Remodel Initiative]] which involved removing the Showroom Walls, Balcony Seating, adding Purple Walls, & adding Star Stage character posters in the showroom. The store would be bought out by Corporate on December 13th, 2019 alongside [[Chesapeake, VA (4400 Peek Trail)|the other Chesapeake location]] & [[Hampton, VA (5 Towne Centre Way)]]. As of 2023, Chesapeake still has Merced's 2-Stage and the 2005 Update. |

History
The location opened in December 1996 as a Franchised location with the 2-Stage from the Merced Pizza Time Theatre which closed a year prior. The store would open with Phase 1. In 2010-2011, the store would receive the 2005 Update to the 2003 "Cool Chuck" Reconfiguration / Major Remodel Initiative which involved removing the Showroom Walls, Balcony Seating, adding Purple Walls, & adding Star Stage character posters in the showroom. The store would be bought out by Corporate on December 13th, 2019 alongside the other Chesapeake location & Hampton, VA (5 Towne Centre Way). As of 2023, Chesapeake still has Merced's 2-Stage and the 2005 Update.
