Little Rock Chuck E. Cheese in ~2013.

10901 N Rodney Parham Road was a Chuck E. Cheese's located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

This store began as a Showbiz Pizza Place, and even after its conversion into a Chuck E. Cheese, it kept many of its Showbiz elements. It is one of few post-Showbiz stores to have kept the wood paneled walls bordering the 3-stage, all the way up to its closure; giving it a distinct look.

Stages

This location had a 3-stage that began as a Rock-Afire Explosion. Sometime in the 90s, the stage was converted into a Munch's Make Believe Band, complete with all of the characters including extras such as Building, Moon, Wink, Pizzacam, and possibly even Munch Jr. Pizzacam was only present for a short time, and was likely removed sometime in the early 2000s. After Concept Unification in the 90s, all of the characters had latex masks, and Chuck E. wore his signature black tuxedo and red derby hat. The latex masks were all replaced by plastic masks pre-2003. In the 2000s, Chuck E.'s tux and derby were replaced by a red cap with a black 'C', a blue shirt with a yellow 'C', and khaki shorts (Cool Chuck outfit). The stage had working curtains up until curtains were no longer programmed. The Munch's Make Believe Band sign was not constantly present, nor was Jasper's hat.

History

Showbiz

This store originally began as a Showbiz Pizza Place in the 80s. The actual opening date of the Showbiz is unknown.

Tux Chuck and Cool Chuck Eras

The interior and exterior of this store is what some might describe as being "Phase 3". It included numerous artworks and decorations of Tux Chuck and Cool Chuck, such as record posters, pop art, a confetti poster of Tux Chuck, a wooden thumbs up sign, and much more. Although the Avenger Chuck design was present on some of the arcade machines, Avenger Chuck artwork was never actually implemented. The booth cushions in the 90s and early 2000s were red and blue striped, later changing to red with yellow buttons sometime later. The "Toddler Zone" with kiddie rides also contained SkyTubes, which at one point had a ball pit that was removed.

Closure

This store closed on April 19, 2014 in favor of a new store in Little Rock on Shackleford, which is still open to this day. The relocated store has a Circle of Lights stage with no animatronic. It is unknown what happened to the animatronics at the previous location.

Present Day

Very long after Little Rock's closure, nearly the entire building was sold off to a new owner, including the Kmart next door that had gone out of business. Currently, the building is being used as a medical plaza by the name of Premier Gastroenterology.
