This location originally opened as a ''Staples'' in the Fall of 1999. On March 6, 2014, it was announced this Staples would be closing summer 2014. A few months later in winter 2015 the Staples property would be subdivided into a CVS Pharmacy which would open in Early 2015. According to job listings, this CEC had been planned as early as Spring 2019. The unused half of the property would sit vacant until around Spring 2022 where construction would begin. In leaked documents from 2021 relating to the construction of the new store it was shown that they were originally intended to get a Circle of Lights. Although those plans never came to fruition.
