Cincinnati, OH (4394 Eastgate Square Dr) was a Chuck E. Cheese's that opened in late July or early August 1990 with a Rocker stage,

It was a franchise store owned by "Family Entertainment, Inc" which was eventually bought by corp on August 25, 2008. The store also had a Rocker Stage which was replaced with the third version of the Studio C Cappa in 2005/2006.

Stages:

Opened up with a Rocker Stage in 1990 receiving barely any updates or maintenance after being installed. As shown in a 1998 video of the store the show already barely worked with Helen for example having only two movements out of the total eight movement[1]. Helen was also one of the last PTT Helen masks being used as she still had it in 2002. But by 2003 had been removed and replaced by the standard 90s Helen mask design.[2] It is rumored that the animatronics were replaced with Florence, KY (7635 Mall Rd) original show but since this is not coming from a verified source, this information is to be taken with a grain of salt.

Soon after in late 2005/Early 2006 Eastgate received its first remodel getting rid of the Rocker stage and replacing it with (at the time) the brand new third update to the Studio C Cappa which did have working curtains (although unknown if they were ever used). The stage remained mostly untouched until 2014 when the stage was modified to remove the blue screen and several lighting fixtures. It was replaced with what early 2010s stores got although missing most of the display and having the bottom lights stuck on and the "CEC" sign just stuck on the wall above the TVs. In 2017 the store trashed the curtains and the animatronic got rockstar pants in 2018. In recent years the stage has had more and more technical issues such as. No audio or visuals being played with only signals going off for live shows, The show randomly shutting off at random points. Along with in 2020 the show being completely off for several months due to the computer not turning on.

History:

The 1990s

Eastgate opened in late July or early August 1990 with the 88' remodel and a rocker. Eventually in the 90s they received the skytubes and update the wall art within the store such as installing Mount Chuckmore, record posters, and various other posters/signs from the 93 art package.

The 2000s

In 2005/2006 The store was remodeled and got rid of its showroom walls /9making the showroom even smaller), all the 93 art decor minus Mount Chuckmore, the Rocker Stage being replaced by the third version of the Studio C Cappa, they also repainted several of the walls purple. With this remodel they kept a lot of the brown wood trim which was apart of the store going back to its opening in 1990. On August 25, 2008 the "Bernstein Restaurant Group" sold its two stores of 4394 Eastgate Square Dr and Florence, KY (7635 Mall Rd) to Chuck E. Cheese then making Eastgate & Florence owned by corp. Due to Eastgate already being up to modern standards for Chuck E. Cheese it received no remodel since the buyout unlike Florence which has gotten two one in 2010 and one in 2022.

The 2010s

The stage was modified in 2013/2014 to modified the TV half of the Cappa to remove much of the display leaving just the bottom half, installing three TVs on top of that and adding the small "CEC" sign on the back wall above the TVs. The Skytubes were removed in Spring 2016 along with Sharonville, OH (1429 E Kemper Rd) and Cincinnati, OH (8801 Colerain Ave) did around the same time. In 2019 due to the recent closure of Colerain several posters were sent to Eastgate to replace some of their older posters and re position some of the posters. The posters they gained from Colerain were "Grand Marshal of Games", "Ambassador of Fun" and two red tickets during this update two posters were trashed those being "Titan of Token" which was replaced with "Ambassador of Fun" and "Ice Hockey" which was replaced with "King of Cool". Along with new posters and removals several posters moved with the Big Token being moved to the entrance hallway originally being where "Grand Marshal of Games" is now, the Small Token above the menus were moved to the game room in front of the prize counter, and the two red tickets were installed above "Jumpin Fantasy" and "Haunted Mansion".
