209 N Berkeley Blvd, Store #386 is a Chuck E. Cheese's/Chuck E. Cheese in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

The store opened on September 19th, 2003 with a Studio C Cappa V2 in the Ashley Plaza Strip Mall. It is

still open today with the 2.0 Remodel as of 2024. It is located along an Ashley Furniture Store and a now closed phone repair shop.


History

Pre CEC (1977-2001)

Ashley Plaza would open in June 1977, The space where the Goldsboro Chuck E. Cheese currently resides was originally a Revco Discount Drug Store, in the 1990's, it would close and become a CVS/Pharmacy. CVS would remain open until 2001 when the store would close for good.

CEC (September 19, 2003-Present)

Goldsboro opened on September 19th, 2003 in the Ashley Plaza with a Small Town Studio C , this was the first Studio C Cappa store to open in the state of North Carolina. When the store opened, this was one of the 7 locations to have the Small Town Studio C V1. In around 2013, the store would received the 2013 Update of the 2003 "Cool Chuck" Reconfiguration / Major Remodel Initiative which involved replacing the dim lighting with bright lighting, an exterior remodel, adding purple walls, and replacing store art. The store's exterior was later repainted alongside the rest of plaza. In July 2023, Goldsboro stated their 2.0 Remodel and their Studio C would be removed not long after for a 2021 Model Dance Floor & Video Wall. As of July 2023, Goldsboro still has their 2021 Model Dance Floor & Video Wall.
