History

Largo opened in 2004 as a relocation of Landover, Md (8503 Landover rd) which closed in 2000 . It opened as a phase 3 store. It also opened in the Capital Center Boulevard, the former site of the old Washington Capitals arena. It is a few minutes from the current home of the Washington Commanders, Commanders Field (formerly known as the FedExField from November 1999 to February 2024). When the store first opened, they had a Studio C Beta stage, which had chuck e wearing his cool chuck outfit. As for decor they had must c tv posters, postcard posters, and some early and late 90's parody posters. Sometime between 2008-2009 the received the 2005 remodel which removed dim lighting for fluorescent lighting, the diner lights in the showroom, removing the must c tv posters and early and late 90's parody posters for The kids posters. (But they kept the 2001 postcard posters and some other late 90's artwork like the sports posters and the character posters) Sometime between the late 2000's and early 2010's, chuck e had received his avenger outfit. In the early 2010's, the blue screen camera was removed and replaced with the ticket blaster. In september 2013, largo would remove the avenger hat off of chuck e to make it look like rockstar chuck. In the mid to late 2010's, the blue screen was removed and chuck e had received the full rockstar outfit. On september 19th 2022, largo disabled their studio c bot due to navori. Nothing else would change until 2023, when largo started their 2.0 remodel. As of June 2024, largo is still open to this day with 2.0.
