Levittown’s Exterior in August 2020, shortly after closure. (PC: LevittownNow.com)
Levittown, PA (1283 E Lincoln Hwy) was a Chuck E. Cheese's that opened on August 7, 1990, with Chuck E.'s House, and closed on August 25, 2020, with a 1-Stage.
History
This location opened in August 1990 with Chuck E's House, also known as the Rocker Stage. Levittown was actually one of the last ten locations to open with the Rocker Stage after Concept Unification began in fall 1989 and before the Road Stage began installation in fall 1990. Around 1993 or 1994, the Rocker Stage was replaced by the 1-Stage, whose installations were in full swing by 1993. Sometime in the 2000s, they received the 2005 remodel, removing showroom walls and replacing older wall decor for newer wall decor. They kept this remodel and the stage until August 25, 2020, when they closed permanently possibly due to corporate financial troubles after the bankruptcy caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The former location is now an Aspen Dental as of 2022. Levittown is now left without a Chuck E. Cheese for the first time, and it's unknown if they will ever return to Levittown with a new store.
