Rockin Rollies

The Rockin' Rollie's was an obscure animatronic pizza place that opened in Sioux Falls South Dakota on June 13th of 1990^[1] and closed on July 31st of 1991^[2]. The owners of the business were Galaxy Enterprises Inc^[3] owners Randy Koepsell, Randy Hindbjorgen, Chris Kirkus, and Doug McBeth.^[4] The business closed on July 31st of 1991^[2] after failing to beat local competition, and also likely after receiving public backlash for using video lottery machines and serving alcohol at a children's pizza place. ^[5]

Characters

Not much is currently known about the characters of Rockin' Rollie's. There were eight or nine characters, with one being a cheetah, two seemingly being bears, and one being a gorilla.^[3]

Trivia

Galaxy Enterprises Inc was also involved in the franchising of Gigglebee's.
One of the Rockin Rollie's band members was present at the auction in 2008 for Gigglebee's closing.^[6]
