History section

The history section doesnt cover the history of the stage. it mentions somthing else. If Sombody can come along and acttualy make a history section, that would be apreciated. Newbie editor (talk) 16:55, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Studio 'C'

This will probably be the last time I'll mention this on this particular wiki but, It's still getting under my skin.

"Designed by Corman and Associates, an employee from Corman stated that the stages never specifically had names, but instead used the "Studio C" name and its revision year. Since Corman did not have official names, the "Studio 'C' 2000" name is also not an official name"

Not only is it incorrect and contradicts itself twice, but it undermines the work we've contributed to actually figuring out the Studio 'C' names. You know your wiki has a chokehold on the information people will consume relating to CEC, and I found it especially disgusting how I've been threatened a ban after correcting the pages twice even after I provided as much evidence as needed to warrant the changes being made. I wont be moving the pages, but if you need any more proof just talk to me over Discord (donovanmarcelle445). --BurgersNuggs445 (talk) 01:11, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hey Killer -- I agree; and I want to personally apologize as I was the one who wrote that blurb you're quoting, only trying to appease the server's wants at the time, but to also make note of the discovery, albeit dismissively and without a lot of context, so incorrectly.
A discussion came up in the server recently about the Studio C names and I'm not sure if this is a follow up on that or just a coincidence. I've also suggested potentially merging all shows into one Studio C page, discussing each revision, but that was rejected.
I think the best thing to do here is firstly leave the page names as they are. We have redirects in place so if someone looks up Studio 'C' 2000, they are redirected to the Beta page, for example. This ensures that our naming conventions are in line with most other online sources and is also going to show up in a Google search. I can't really speak for anyone else but I think the ban was related to moving the pages without permission. At this point moving the pages causes confusion. We still have people calling the remodels Phase 5 in our Discord.
However, I also agree that it is worth digging deeper within the pages to showcase the research. And as I just said, searches for "Studio C Beta" are going to be more common, so this page could then serve as a correction to those who need it.
Since I do not know enough about it, I encourage you to contribute to these pages instead and ensure that the research is represented accurately.

Would it not more more sense to move the page back to Studio 'C' 2000 and have Beta redirect it to 2000? And this being wiki ran by fans, being the most up to date and correct should be your number one priority. There will and will continue to be people left in the dark about this information until the next big step is made to let it be more known to the general community.
