5156 W Waco Dr. was a Showbiz Pizza Place that opened in 1986 with a Rock-Afire Explosion and closed in 1992.

This specific Showbiz Pizza location was the smallest location to ever open and allegedly only had a capacity for just 175 patrons. This location also was coincidentally located within the same shopping center as the current Chuck E. Cheese location that would open in 2002.[1][2]

Stages

5156 W Waco Dr. would be one of the last locations to open with a Rock-Afire Explosion; as Showbiz Pizza Time started to phase out the Rock Afire as early as 1987. The stage would take up most of the back area of the restaurant as the locations size would just barely accommodate it. The location also received the Cybervision update shortly after opening.

History

5156 W Waco Dr. opened in 1986 with Showbiz Pizza Time's new rebranded interior design however with a blue and yellow color scheme.[3] Post opening, little is known of the location other than the readily available information on showbizpizza.com .

Closure

In 1992 the location would permanently close and later put up for lease for an extended period of time. In 2017 the former Showbiz became "Smile Doctors Braces".
