1422 South Robert Street was a Showbiz Pizza Place, later Circus Pizza, even later on, Chuck E. Cheese that opened on September 23, 1982, with a Rock-Afire Explosion stage and closed in October 1985.

It became a Circus Pizza around 1988 and closed in the 1990's. Chuck E. Cheese then opened on the space on August 6, 1999 and sadly closed in December 2019.

Stages

Originally, this location opened with the Rock-Afire Explosion stage, but sadly there are rarely any pictures and no videos to exist of West St. Paul back then. They received the New Rock-Afire Explosion sometime around 1988 and was removed in the late 1990's when Circus Pizza closed. They then received the Studio C Alpha stage in August 1999, and was removed in December 2019 Due to closure.

History

West St. Paul originally opened up on September 23rd, 1982 with the Rock-Afire Explosion stage and remained like that until October 1985 when the location closed because it was under-performing. Unfortunately, there's no videos of West St. Paul as a Showbiz Pizza Place. In 1988, The location became a Circus Pizza and received the New Rock-Afire Explosion stage. It would also remain like this until around the Late 1990's when the location closed. Not too long after, On August 6th, 1999, the location reopened as a Chuck E. Cheese and received a unique Studio C Alpha stage. Interestingly, it lacked the Apple TV and they replaced the valance. They also received the 1999 Remodel. They had the Studio C Alpha for the rest of the store's existence. Around 2005, the curtains were disabled. West St Paul Remained like this until 2006/2007 when the received the 2005 Remodel (interior only) and removed the Showroom Walls, Balcony Seating, replacing older decor for newer decor, and relocating some games and the salad bar. In Summer 2013, they received a brand new Rock-star Chuck costume along other Locations. In Fall 2013, Chuck's Cap was removed to resemble the Rock-star version. West St. Paul remained like this until December 2019, when they would close for unknown reasons, but most likely due to either lease issues or violence. Not much info is known about this store, except for the YouTuber, "Cheese E. Chuck", because this used to be his local. Not long after, in 2020, it was changed into an AutoZone. Currently, as of September 2023, AutoZone is still there.
