Winchester Jasper T. Jowls (Animatronic)

Winchester Jasper T. Jowls is an animatronic used at the San Jose CA (Winchester) Pizza Time Theatre from May 1977 until it was replaced by a standard model Cyberamic in 1980.

History

Corporate Move

After Pizza Time Theatre vacated the Sunnyvale building in 1985, Jasper, along with Winchester's Chuck E. Cheese V2 and Pasqually would be rescued by Jul Kamen. Jul would end up loaning all three portrait bots to SPT Headquarters to display in a museum dedicated to the history of Chuck E. Cheese's. The museum plans would never go through and the animatronics would simply be used as display pieces.

At some point, Jasper's shirt was replaced with a green shirt and his muzzle was repainted with extra spots.

Destruction

In 2004, Corporate would undergo a remodel and the portrait bots would be removed from their spot on the wall. The animatronics were ordered destroyed as part of CEC's strict 'de-identification' policy. While Chuck E. was saved by employees, Jasper and Pasqually were destroyed. The person who destroyed them is unknown.

Design

Winchester Jasper is the first iteration of Jasper T. Jowls. His head is made of latex with a fabric snout and fabric eyelids over two flat plastic eyes. He originally carried a real banjo, but this was quickly dropped due to the weight of the banjo damaging the animatronic. He wears a red flower-patterned shirt and light blue Big Smith overalls.
