Charlie Cheese's Pizza Playhouse was the Australian branch of Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre locations, which operated from March 1981 up until round 1984 to 1986.
History
In 1981, PTT opened there first Charlie Cheese's in Surfer's Paradise, Queensland, Australia (2 Cavil Avenue) with a Cyberamics Portrait / Shelf Stage. The name was changed from Chuck to Charles due to Chuck meaning "Throw Up" in Australian. The Cavil Location closed in 1982 & another one opened the same year in Carina, Queensland, Australia (1151 Creek Road) with a Cyberamics Balcony Stage.The location closed around 1984 to 1986 making Charlie Cheese's defunct.
