Hialeah, FL (3805 W 20th Ave)

3805 W 20th Ave is a Chuck E. Cheese that opened on April 2, 1991, as a corporate location with a Road Stage which is still open to this day.

It is located in the Westland Promenade Shopping Mall. It should not be confused with the Hialeah, FL (500 W 49th St) location as it opened as a franchised location on December 20th, 1982, and was Located In the Palm Springs Mills, and was bought by corporate on October 22nd, 1984, along with 50 other locations and closed in 1985 or 1986 with a Balcony Stage.

History

Hialeah opened on April 2nd, 1991, as a corporate-owned location. Hialeah opened with the 1988 Remodel including the CU decor, and the Road Stage. Around the mid-late 1990s, Hialeah replaced their logo with Coach Chuck and removed older 90's decor for newer decor and the removal of the ball pit for SkyTubes And Helens Box Was Painted Pink. In 2005, For Unknown Reasons, The Phase 4 Avenger Chuck Logo was Installed and one piece of the awnings were removed. In 2009 or 2010, Hialeah remodeled to the 2005 remodel which involved the removal of the showroom walls, removing older decor for newer decor, new booths, & adding purple walls, The Store was Expanded Taking over a China Buffet which Relocated to The Other side of The Shopping center. in 2015 Hialeah along with 6 other stores tested out the Lazer Challange Which was removed by 2019 or 2020, In 2020, The Skytubes were removed. in 2020-2021 The Road Stage fell into a state of disrepair, As Helen Couldnt Move, Munch Couldnt touch his Keyboard, And Jasper was Completely Aired down for all of 2021 and the spotlights (Including the wink Spotlight) Was Broken. Hialeah remained like this until November 21st 2021 when they received the 2.0 remodel and removed the Road Stage for the Dance Floor and The Showroom Relocated Next to the Windows. Its also Note worthy to mention that this was The 1st Road Stage Removed for 2.0. The Road stage was Removed on November 28th 2021. They kept the Phase 4 Awnings Until December 2022 when they were removed and 2.0 Awnings were installed by January 2023. The Exterior was repainted covering the scars from the Awnings in April 2023. Currently, as of December 2023, the location still has the 2.0 Remodel and the Dance Floor.

Stages

Like all Road Stages at the time, Chuck wore his Tuxedo & Derby outfit And Helen's Box was Originally Blue. Up and Down curtains were added by the Late 90's and Helens Box was Painted Pink. In the Early-Mid 2000's, this was replaced with the Cool Chuck outfit and a New Projector was added. By 2011 or 2012 Chuck's outfit was replaced with the Avenger outfit. The Hat was Removed in September 2013By 2014, Paqually's PTT Movements were removed. in 2015 A Flat Screen was added, And Chuck E. Received the Jeans in 2016. Munch's Cap Was removed in 2018, And Jasper's Hat was Removed By 2019.

The stage was removed on November 28th 2021 for the 2.0 Remodel and Dance Floor.

As of December 2023, Hialeah still has the Dance Floor and 2.0 Remodel.
