9704 Fondren Road was a Pizza Time Theater that opened in 1981 (day and month unknown) with a Balcony Stage, and closed in 1995 (day and month unknown) with a Chuck E.'s House Facade.

History

Houston, TX (Fondren) opened in 1981 as a Pizza Time Theater with a Balcony Stage and had the 1981 remodel. This location has no pictures from when it was open. It is not confirmed if They had The King or Dolli Dimples. In 1988, they received the 1988 SPT Remodel which removed most of the PTT artwork and changed the name of the location from "Chuck E Cheese's Pizza Time Theater" to "Chuck E Cheese's Pizza". They also changed the stage from the Balcony Stage to the Chuck E.'s House Facade. Unfortunately, The location closed in 1995 for unknown reasons. After closure, the building was abandoned with a "Saba's" and a daycare taking over part of the former space. Later, the 1988 remodel doors (the only remnant of the Chuck E. Cheese’s being there) were removed and a barbershop took over the entrance. Years later, the barbershop closed and still sits vacant to this day.

Stages

When they first opened, They had a Balcony Stage until 1988, when they renovated the stage to the Chuck E.'s House Facade. After closure, the bots were either destroyed, sent to another location, or placed in storage.
