Info

The King / King Kat Cyberamics were animatronics produced by Pizza Time Theatre from 1980 to 1984. The bots were controlled using the Cyberamic Control System. Some bots would be retrofitted from The King into King Kat from 1984 to 1986. The bots would be stationed at PTT lounges.

History

The first King cyberamic was created & installed at an unknown location, though the first confirmed installation was at Ogden, UT (3155 Harrison Blvd) in 1980. The bot would be stationed in The Lounge section of the store. The animatronic slowly began one of PTT's highest manufactured bots, right behind the main stage Cyberamics. The last confirmed bot was installed at Union, NJ (1660 US-22) in 1984. After Showbiz bought PTT, several King's would be retrofitted into King Kats. Most bots would removed when stores went through the SPT 1988 Remodel Program, & SPT 1992 Remodel Program. After Phase 1 (1994) happened, The amount of King bots dwindled again. In the early 2000's, the last few Kings would be removed.

Design

The King bots were installed with a white Elvis Pressley suit, A King styled head with Black hair, Blue eyes, A belt, & a guitar. The King Kat retrofits had a Red Michael Jackson suit, Glasses, & a glove.
