I know why the interactive console was removed. It was removed because of the website update. If stores still kept the console, the screen would have the website show a 404 error because of the updates for so many years since 1999 and has been removed from the website. - ChuckECool

I think StudioC means x = incorrect, ChuckECool. I personally don't think it could have been that CEC updated their website. I think it most likely could have been that the techs didn't know how to fix it, or there were / are no parts to fix pieces of it (like the computer, the camera screens, and sound effects) or the whole thing, so the next best thing to do was to just remove it. --CECBowlingGreen (About Me) (talk) 01:08, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
