Original Design 2017-2019
The original design for 2.0 introduced a brand new color scheme, having green on the outside with gray detailing, a new logo, and some circles on the side, as well as a new font for the wording that read "Chuck E. Cheese", there was also a "Pizzeria & Games" sign, making the full name "Chuck E. Cheese Pizzeria & Games". The inside had white walls with gray stripes, wood flooring near the counters, new carpet, and a brand new Dance Floor with TV's above it to replace the animatronics, and where the stage was is now where the silhouettes of Munch's Make Believe Band are, it also has a little bio about stuff they like, the bios are also on the cups too. There is not too much artwork as previous remodels, having only a few pieces, some being things like "Play" and "High Five", there is also a piece that is a sort of timeline of their history, with it starting in 1977 and going into present day, an interesting thing is that on the 1977 box, the Kooser bots are shown, except that store opened in December 1978, making it technically not correct. This design debuted at the San Antonio (Stone Oak), Texas (1403 N Loop) location in 2017.

Special 2.0's
- There are several locations that have custom murals put into the store, some of these having to do when the store remodeled, such as Brandon, Florida, who got the 2.0 remodel in March 2021 and has a mural that uses elements from the Summer of Fun promotion.

- Locations with custom murals include:
- The San Jose, California (2445 Fontaine Rd) location, which received 2.0 in 2018 and 2019, is the largest location in the United States, they received a Circles Of Light stage instead of a Dance Floor, but installed one in Spring 2022, it is bigger than other Dance Floors, they have a third floor, but is only accessible to employees. That third floor has many one of a kind artwork from when it was a Pizza Time Theatre, and even still has carpet with PTT Chuck's head on it.
- The Madison, Tennessee (2070 Gallatin Pike) location has a deep balcony since the ceilings are very low, they received 2.0 in April 2022 and formerly had a 3-Stage. They also put the Dance Floor in the old showroom.
- The Paducah, Kentucky (5141 Hinkleville Rd) location, which received 2.0 in 2018, has the character posters lined up in MMBB order, and the wall colors are different, Chuck E.'s being green (normally it's yellow), Helen's being blue (normally its red) Munch's being purple (normal color), Jasper's being red (normally it's blue), and Pasqually's being yellow (normally it's green)
