24416 Muirlands Blvd was a franchise owned Pizza Time Theatre that opened in 1981 with a Shelf Stage and closed in 2001.

This location became widely known as "The final Pizza Time Theatre" for having various elements from the 1980s still present inside of the restaurant, most notably the Shelf Stage.
This location was formerly thought to have had the last Balcony Stage, but after research determined Lake Forest was a Shelf show, despite Balcony Stages being placed in every new store since December 1980, although Hayward, California (24253 Hesperian Blvd) (opened in April 1981), and the Charlie Cheese's Pizza Playhouse in Surfer's Paradise, Queensland, Australia (opened in March 1981) would also have The Shelf installed, although the Surfer's Paradise Pizza Playhouse would have a Shelf and Balcony hybrid.

During the SPT remodel process, the characters were moved closer together and given custom made staging. This created a one of a kind hybrid between the existing shelf show and C-Stage. Shortly after the changeover, the final cosmetic change documented would be the changing of Helen's red sequin dress to the black and purple standard dress. This store would also end up being the final occasion a Bandstand vest or Broadway Helen cosmetics to be utilized in store.

During the 1990s the showroom became increasingly more decorated, receiving large screen CRTs, custom made lighting props, merry go-round horse statues on display, and colorful flags over the retired waving flag's mechanisms.
History
Lake Forest opened in June 1981 with a Shelf show (formerly thought to have had a Balcony Stage), they would stay mostly the same throughout the 1980's and would remodel in the 1990's. They would retrofit their Shelf show into a makeshift C-Stage, although it could still be classified as a shelf show, given the platform the characters were resembled what was featured on the regular Shelf shows. Lake Forest would close at an unknown time in 2001, and would relocate to Laguna Hills, CA (26538-H Moulton Pkwy), which is still open, and has a Studio C 2000, 32M.

Lounge Acts
Before its closing, it was the last with the Shelf Show with nearly everything as it was in the 1990s; minus Helen's cosmetics. They were also one of the last stores to have the 1986 Remodel and many PTT fixtures.
During it's time as a Pizza Time Theatre, Lake Forest would have three lounge acts in rotation, The King, The Beagles, and The Beach Bowsers. All three lounge acts would retire once the location remodeled.

Lake Forest store has kept the same show setup since opening minus the minor improvements made before 1991, when they repainted their showroom and retrofitted their shelf stage in a way that looks similar to Chuck E.'s House Facade. Helen's outfit was replaced in around the Mid 1990's. It was the last shelf to ever exist with the store closing in Fall 2001. It also was the last store with the Bandstand vest, and one of the last stores to have Broadway Helen. Lake Forest would also have Flag Wavers and Clapper Board, as seen in a 2001 image.

The location would remodel only once during the 1986 SPT Remodel Program, when both PTT and SPP became one company and would standardize every location under one design. Lake Forest would keep the general layout of the location until its closure. The walls still had advertisements relating to Pizza Time Theatre along with original artwork dating back to opening day.
Trivia
Although the location hasn't received major updates, the franchise was still successful, having received multiple awards for their sales growth. This may also be a direct cause for a local Toyota dealership to sponsor the location.
* The location was bizarrely sponsored by Toyota Motors during it's final years, as seen in a 2001 image.

The only updated aspect of the store would be the games package, appearing to never received Phase I, but a condensed Phase II package. Lake Forest would only receive new games later on as opposed to new attractions; most likely due to the locations size.

Closure
In 2001 the location would permanently close and relocate to Laguna Hills, CA. However unlike most relocations, the franchisee chose to not reuse any previous assets from the original location. The building has since been remodeled and now has no remnants of Chuck E. Cheese's existence besides of the presence of the former "Now Appearing" boxes outside.

The location's building would be repurposed into several different restaurants over time, the most recent being Bombay Grill, Bar and Banquet.
